Both of our families have been visiting Gunnison and other parts of Colorado for generations. As children, we were captivated by their adventure photos and by the beauty and majesty of Colorado’s landscapes. Vacationing here with our own family kept our love for this place alive from afar for many years, but about 19 years ago we finally made the permanent move to these mountains—and we’ve been loving it ever since.
Living in the Colorado mountains naturally inspires a healthier, more active lifestyle—and we’ve been no exception. We love camping, rafting, snowshoeing, off-roading, hiking, fishing… anything that gets us and our pets outdoors and off on an adventure! All that exploring takes real, wholesome fuel, and that simple truth is what inspired us to create Gunnison Jerky Co.
Gunnison, Colorado is the gateway to an incredible range of outdoor adventures, and when we noticed that one of the top adventure snacks was missing from the local business scene, we decided to change that. Our hand-crafted jerky is made with only natural ingredients—no added growth hormones, no antibiotics, no MSG, no synthetic nitrites—and it’s gluten-free. Plus, each ounce delivers a powerful protein punch of 17 grams or more.
